At Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) our aim is to develop independent, reflective and globally aware, lifelong learners.
In partnership with our families, we aim to provide an exceptional, holistic education to children and young women.
We strive to equip them with the academic learning, emotional intelligence and creative skills to become resilient, compassionate, critical thinking leaders, ready to fulfil their potential as global citizens.
Honouring our strong tradition and heritage, Canberra Girls Grammar is committed to being an exemplary school in the Anglican faith.
The CGGS boarding program supports young women from the Canberra region, around Australia, and the world, who choose our School to access a world-class education, pursue high-performance sporting pathways, or explore their potential in music or the arts.
Our Boarding House provides a safe and caring environment for all students, while offering a tailored boarding experience for up to 80 girls in Years 7–12.
Our boarding community is wonderfully diverse with students from regional and remote locations in NSW, local students whose families are on overseas postings from the Defence Forces or Foreign Affairs, and students from around the globe.
We recognise that no two students are alike and we work with families to support their daughter’s academic, personal and co-curricular goals.
